A Death Threat That The GSS Will Ignore!

Women In Green received the following death threat
     in the mail:
       (Women In Green) נשים בירוק,"
       (Take Heed!) שימו לב
                      ימנית טובה היא ימנית מתה
(A Good Right-Winger Is One That Is Dead)
(You have been forewarned!) " ראו הוזהרתן

                                         מאת: ועד ההצלה לגאולת פלסטין
From: The Committee For The Salvation of Palestine

The card was well written in Hebrew script only. (We are
providing an English translation.)

Unfortunately, the General Security Service is
busy inciting only against nationalistic Jews. They are
inventing and planting Jewish right-wing plots against
Mordechai, Weizman; they have even thrown in Netanyahu,
the Left's consistent target of abuse. The GSS well
knows that it is not the "right" which has been
targeting, demeaning, and inciting against Netanyahu;
the GSS, and the biased Media, however, are completely
silent in that regard.

We live in times of rampant Arab and Muslim
terrorism, both in Israel and abroad, which by and large
has been condoned by most Arabs. It is almost taking a
page out of the usual Arab fantasy, while at the same
time being most inopportune, for the GSS and our own
police, to attempt to create an illusion that there is similar
Jewish terrorism afoot.

A major overhaul of the GSS is in order. It needs
badly an infusion of Jews who are knowledgeable and
proud of their Jewish Heritage. Its personnel today is
decidedly secular oriented, completely ignorant of
Judaism, and border on being self-hating Jews.

It is a shameful and disheartening bluff that is
being perpetrated on the Israeli public. Our present
Government must step in with a firm hand and set
things aright. It is Arab terror, and the condoning
thereof by the Arab public at large, which is our
problem, and not a "make believe" Jewish terrorist
threat. Such irresponsible behavior resulting in the
further disunity of our People, calls for a complete
overhaul of the GSS. The sooner this is done, the
chances for unifying our People will be greatly enhanced.

Police Call In Women In Green Leaders For Interrogation!

      A widespread "witchhunt" against nationalist
groups, encouraged by the General Security Service and
the Media because of recent strongly worded criticism of
President Weizman and Defense Minister Mordechai, has
resulted in Nadia and Ruth Matar, leaders of Women In
Green, among others, being called in for "questioning"
by the Police.

The intimidation involved in a democratic
society by the use of this police instrumentality, is
readily apparent. Despite the fact that this nation has
experienced a marked trauma engendered by the Rabin
assassination, it is, nevertheless, a totally
unconnected, unjustified, and dangerous police action.

The pretext given by the police is that Women
In Green held a demonstration against the Rabbis For
Human Rights and Arik Ascherman for their incitement of
Arabs in the neighboring Maon community near Hebron. It
was our contention that unjustifiably stirring up Arabs
against Jews, predictably leads to Arab violence. As a
result, some months later, a Maon Jew, a father of four
young children, was ambushed and murdered by Arabs.
Although a complaint was filed with the Police that
Ascherman along with other Arabs had entered the
property of the Maon Jews and uprooted trees and
saplings, beating up a Jew in the process, nothing has
been done by the police in regard to that complaint.
Ascherman continues to stir up Arabs, as witness his
recent staged repeated appearance on the all too biased
CNN, where he was shown rebuilding a destroyed illegal
Arab building on a bypass road. That road led to the
homes of Jews who were residing in the area, and such an
Arab home would represent a decided hazard to passing
Jewish vehicles. Needless to say, Ascherman has not
been "questioned" with regard to this Arab incitement,
nor has any "left" leaning group had the privilege of
being "called" for such purpose, by the Police.

And so it goes. The slate of murders of Jews
by Arabs continues, with most of these murders remaining
"unsolved" by the Police and the GSS. Groups such as
the Reform Movement's Rabbis For Human Rights, and its
Executive Director Ascherman, have been justifiably
criticized by Alan Dershowitz, a leading Civil Rights
exponent, as showing a decided bias against Israel's
Jewry, and distorting the meaning of "human rights".

Crime in Israel is on the rise. "Everyone
would benefit if the police spent more time catching
criminals and less going after straw men" said Evelyn
Gordon a Jerusalem Post commentator, recently. I'm sure
Evelyn wouldn't object if her phrase was extended to
include "straw women" as well.

A Woman of Valor Who Can Find?

The following is the text of today's program by Nadia Matar, the
chairperson of Women for Israel's Tomorrow (Women in Green), on Arutz
7. Nadia speaks every Sunday after the 12:00 noon newscast.

Shalom to all our listeners!
This is Nadia Matar speaking -

So this is it, summer vacation is just about over. Some children have
already returned to school, others not yet, because of this
unnecessary political strike. But we can say that all the mothers
have certainly already mentally returned to the atmosphere of the new
school year, and what concerns us, Jewish mothers, are questions such
as "Who will be the teacher of our child," "To which after-school
class will we send our daughter," "What will we put in the children's
sandwiches," "Isn't their schoolbag already too heavy," "When will
this strike finally end," "What about the busses to school," and
other routine matters relating to the everyday lives of our so cute
 and beloved children.

Our sisters, the women of Hebron, also would like to concern
themselves only with these important matters, but, unfortunately,
this isn't so. Although life in the Jewish community in Hebron never
was easy and always constituted a challenge, the Jews of Hebron never
complained, and they lived their lives contentedly, joyfully, with
great self-sacrifice. Ever since the Hebron agreement, however, and
especially in recent weeks, the situation in Hebron has become
intolerable for the Jews. I'm not speaking merely about the constant
fear of attacks, a fear that, as we all know, exists in every town
and city in Eretz Israel, from Yitzhar to Tel Aviv.

I am speaking about the inability even to walk about freely in the
street. I am speaking especially about the girls and women of Hebron.
I talked with several of my friends, the women of Hebron. They
described for me a sorry situation - and what is frustrating is that
the situation could be different if the security forces were to deal
with the problem: Jewish women and girls cannot walk around in the
only main street left to the Jews, King David Street, the main street
that links Maarat ha-Machpelah (the Tomb of the Patriarchs), Avraham
Avinu, Beit Hadassah, and Tel Rumeidah, without having to undergo a
series of harassments, kicks, obscene gestures, curses, and threats
by the young Arab men who walk around freely on the same main street.
And the situation is becoming more serious from one day to the next.
Last week alone there were three threats of rape. Two weeks ago a
group of Arabs attacked a twelve-year-old Jewish girl and threatened
her: "We'll kidnap you," "We'll rape you," "We'll kill you." After a
few minutes of threats, they let her go, thanks to the uproar caused
 by her girlfriends.

When the girls turn to our soldiers and complain that an Arab
threatened them, the soldier takes the Arab, embraces him, whispers
something in his ear, and lets him go.

When the girls go to the police, then, at best, the police record the
complaint, and of course do nothing about it; at worst, the police
officers arrest the girls and begin to interrogate them about crimes
that they presumably committed in the past. Once again, the victim is
 turned into the aggressor.

And this is how Jewish girls walk around in Hebron, the city of the
Patriarchs, in the jubilee year of the establishment of the State of
Israel. The mothers tell me that their daughters come home, crying
and complaining that, Heaven forbid, there will be a rape here soon,
and nothing is being done about this.

When we saw the women of Hebron on television, presumably "rioting,"
our people, in our public, also reacted with amazement, confusion,
and shame. A woman by the name of Batya Feldman went even further in
her article this Shabbat in Mekor Rishon, under the title: "Lacking
the Human Image." And this is what she writes (and I quote):
>From here, in the easy chair, the sights arouse a bad feeling. Just
[try to] find someone who will logically explain what caused an
inhabitant of Tel Rumeidah to go wild in front of an elderly
Hebronite. What about "You shall show deference to the old" (Leviticus
19:32)? It seems that the Jewish inhabitants of Hebron don't regard
themselves as similar to the Arab residents. It would seem from the
words and actions of these Jewish extremists that the Arab inhabitants
of Hebron simply were not created in the same image, that they are not
to be regarded as human beings, that they can be attacked - the young,
the old, women, the good and the bad - indiscriminately. Those who
have been blinded by hatred must be cast out from our midst. (end of
the quote from Feldman)

It is good that Mrs. Feldman admits at the beginning of her article
that she based her article on what she saw on television from her
easy chair, because whoever writes from his easy chair, or responds
from his easy chair, without knowing what really is happening in
Hebron, will eventually come to write a distorted article, full of
lies and impudent accusations against our heroic brethren who live in
Hebron and guard it on behalf of the entire Jewish people.

The women of Hebron didn't just riot. All that they wanted from the
security forces was that the latter would not let the Arabs walk
about close to the homes of the Jews, close to their windows and
doors, in places where the Arabs have no business being. Only a day
before Rabbi Raanan, may God avenge him, was murdered by a murderer
who came in through a window - and the security forces did nothing
too apprehend that murderer, who succeeded in escaping, thanks to the
cooperation of the Hebron Arab populace.

Rabbi Raanan's blood had not even been absorbed by the soil when the
general attack on the Jews of Hebron began. Believe me, the women of
Hebron would not have reacted as they did if the security forces had
done their job, and instead of acting as the UN forces, would protect
the Jews from Arab attacks. But no - instead of dealing firmly with
the Arabs, it was decided to act firmly with the Jews of Hebron!

And instead of we in the national camp angrily responding to the
Bolshevik treatment of our brothers the Jews of Hebron, all manner of
"Aaron Domb's" have arisen to join the chorus of defamations by the
left of the Jews of Hebron. I think that, in light of all that the
Jews of Hebron have undergone in the past weeks and months, their
response was amazingly restrained. The shouting and furious reaction
by the women of Hebron at the helplessness of the Israeli government
is the healthy and normal reaction of a mother crying out for help, a
mother who seeks to protect her children. Anyone who wants to
understand what really is happening in Hebron must come and see with
his own eyes, and not through the anti-Semitic lens of Channel One
and Channel Two of Israeli television.

Our task in the national camp now is to come and support our
brethren, the Jews of Hebron. To come to Hebron and to demonstrate a
Jewish presence. The women of Kiryat Arba have established a women's
committee, named the Raanan Committee, and tomorrow they will begin a
protest vigil across from the house of Eliakim Rubinstein.

And on the same matter, next Sunday we will mark five years since the
murderous accords, the Oslo accords. We, the Women in Green, call
upon the public to join us in a demonstration opposite the Prime
Minister's Residence in Jerusalem. The demonstration will begin at
 10:30 a.m.

Besides all the serious ideological aspects of the Oslo accords, such
as post-Zionism, the abandonment of the Promised Land, etc., the Oslo
accords also simply pose a tangible danger to the lives of our
children here in Israel. And so we, women, mothers, must return to
 the streets and cry Gevalt!

 Have a good week.

OSLO Is Dead; It Cannot Be Resurrected!

The Oslo Accords with Arafat and the PLO were doomed from the
outset for many formidable reasons; foremost amongst them were
these basic contradictions.

  (a) The Accords were inconsistent with the Lord's Promise
that the Land of Israel was given by God to the Jewish People.
That belief has always been a central concept in Judaism for
over three thousand years, and by ignoring it, our Jewish
Leaders put our People at peril.

(b) The Accords were made with a band of PLO murderers, led by
Arafat, who are not interested in peace with Israel. Like Amalek
of old, according to our sages, they are incapable of changing
their ways, their aims to destroy us, or moderating their hatred
of the Jewish People and Israel.

On the 5th Anniversary of these tragic Oslo Accords, you are
invited to attend their formal funeral in front of the Prime
Minister's residence in Jerusalem, on Sunday, September 13, 1998,
at 10:30 A.M.

Five Years of the Oslo Accords

The following is the text of today's program by Nadia Matar, the
chairperson of Women for Israel's Tomorrow (Women in Green), on Arutz
7. Nadia speaks every Sunday after the 12:00 noon newscast.

Shalom to all our listeners!
This is Nadia Matar speaking -
Today marks five years of the Oslo accords.

Yesterday we read in the synagogue in the weekly Torah portion: "When
you enter the land that the Lord your God is giving you as a
heritage, and you occupy it and settle in it" (Deuteronomy 26:1).

The Torah then describes something strange: after you take the first
fruits of the soil, you must come to the Temple with the first fruits
and proclaim before the kohen an entire text in which you thereby
acknowledge that the Holy One, blessed be He, has given us this land,
and in which you mention the entire early history of the people of
Israel, from the Egyptian servitude to the entrance to Eretz Israel:
"The Lord freed us from Egypt by a mighty hand ... He brought us to
this place and gave us this land, a land flowing with milk and honey.
Therefore I now bring the first fruits of the soil which You, O Lord,
 have given me" (verses 8-10).

This is puzzling. If the purpose of this speech was simply to
preclude a situation of "My own power and the might of my own hand
have won this prosperity for me" (Deuteronomy 8:17), then it would
have sufficed to proclaim a sentence in which we acknowledge the
might of the Holy One, blessed be He, such as "I, the little Jew,
know that these first fruits are not the fruits of my hands, rather,
by merit of the Holy One, blessed be He, I have succeeded in raising
these fruits." Why is it necessary to proclaim all of our early
history? Why mention from where we came?

The answer, in my humble opinion, is that it is not enough to thank
the Holy One, blessed be He, for helping us to grow fruits, for a
believing Jew could grow fruits abroad as well and acknowledge in the
above manner that the Holy One, blessed be He, is responsible for
this crop. The Torah, however, is also teaching us that we have a
special connection with this land. "I acknowledge this day before the
Lord your God that I have entered this land which the Lord swore to
our fathers to give us" (Deuteronomy 26:3).

This is the land that has been promised us by the Holy One, blessed
be He, and what is special about these first fruits is that they grew
specifically in this Promised Land, and in order to truly derive
benefit from these fruits, you must recall from where you came. To
remember what we had before we came here. Remember the wanderings in
exile of your forefathers, remember the slavery of Egypt, remember
the hard labor, remember that you belong to a people that most of the
world seeks to destroy, and then you will be able to enjoy and thank
the Holy One, blessed be He, that you have your own land and the
 fruits of your soil.

This is tangible proof of the eternal bond between the people of
Israel, the Torah of Israel, and the Land of Israel. It is not
sufficient to come to the land, rather "you occupy it and settle in
it" - we must occupy it, dwell in it, settle it. And only the one who
remembers from where he came is capable of doing so. A Jew who
remembers from where he came, also knows where he is going. The
leftists who demonstrated yesterday in favor of continuing the Oslo
accords are people who do not remember from where they came, and
certainly do not know where they are going. They have no faith in our
right to this land, a faith that constituted the basis for Zionism
and that guided the Jews over the course of three thousand years. And
when you don't believe in our right to this land, then you also do
not want to fight for it, and you are not only willing, but want, to
hand it over to your enemy who claims that the land belongs to him.
And when you don't believe in our right to this land, then you become
a collaborator of the archmurderer Arafat.

The Oslo accords were signed five years ago by weak Israeli leaders,
leaders without Jewish roots, leaders who unabashedly joined together
with a group of murderers. Today, five years later, we see that the
price that we paid for the Oslo accords is not only the handing over
of portions of the homeland, rather these accords have already cost
us a down payment of 288 murder victims, may the Lord avenge them.

We are in the period when Selihot are recited. When have we ever hear
from the conceivers of Oslo the word "selihah [forgive me]"? When
will we hear from Shimon Peres, Yossi Beilin, and the other
Oslojidden the words "ashamnu, bagadnu, gazalnu, dibarnu dofi,
hirshanu, zadnu, hamasnu, tafalnu sheker, yo'atznu ra, kizavnu,
rashanu..."? The current government was elected by the rational
majority of the Jewish people, in order to put an end to this dance
macabre. The majority of the people in Israel knows that there are
people with whom one cannot sign agreements, just as the Torah
teaches us regarding Amalek. The majority of the people in Israel is
aware that the archmurderer Arafat will never change and, together
with his bothers from the neighboring Arab countries, will continue
to seek the way to eliminate us. The majority of the people in Israel
knows that continuing with the Oslo accords means the establishment
of a state of terrorists that will attack us and that will threaten
the continued existence of the State of Israel. The majority of the
people in Israel wants to stop Oslo now, and most of the people knows
that there is an alternative to Oslo. If the Oslo accords are like a
train speeding toward the abyss, then the alternative is to stop the
 train - and to live!

Most of the people also knows that there will soon be an armed
struggle here, and even a war, between us and the PLO Authority. In
an interview with the French newspaper Le Nouvel Observateur, the
terrorist Feisal Husseini expressly proclaims that they are planning
an armed struggle against us in May '99. Although the Israeli left
and media will attempt to blame the nationalist government for this
war, we will always recall that those truly responsible for this war
are Yitzhak Rabin and Shimon Peres, who with their own hands
established the terrorist army and armed it with weapons and
 motivation.

With God's help, we will be victorious in this war, if today we do
not continue to implement these accords. We will be victorious if
today we will not give them one more centimeter of our land, so that
the PLO Authority will not be able to create a territorial continuity
which it so needs in order to attack us.

Today we are demonstrating opposite the Prime Minister's Residence
with, among other things, a coffin on which the word "Oslo" is
written. We came to demand that the government already bury the Oslo
accords, instead of continuing to bury our dear ones. We came to tell
the world and the government that "Oslo is dead, and cannot be
resuscitated," and that a government that continues with the Oslo
accords endangers the peace of the state and the peace of the Jewish
people, and we will act to bring it down. And we came to pray to the
Holy One, blessed be He, "Look down from Your holy abode, from
heaven, and bless Your people Israel and the soil You have given us,
a land flowing with milk and honey, as You swore to our fathers"
 (Deuteronomy 26:15).

Have a good week, and let us not forget our struggle for the release
of our brother Jonathan Pollard and for the return of our MIAs: Ron
Arad, Zechariah Baumel, Yehudah Katz, and Tzvi Feldman.

Jerusalem, September 16, 1998

Bury Oslo Before It Buries Israel !

An impressive ceremony was held outside the Prime
Minister's residence on Sunday, September 13, 1998. It
was the fifth anniversary of the signing of the first
Oslo Accord, and this day of infamy was noted by the
Women In Green. They carried a black casket with Oslo
painted on its sides. A formal burial was held of these
suicidal Accords. which have brought neither peace nor
security for Israel. Instead, 288 Jews have been
murdered by Arabs since the signing of these Accords.
The long list of the names of the victims was
dramatically read out to the large audience in
attendance. The ghastly number of 288 is more than the
number of such murders which occurred during the fifteen
years prior to Oslo. The sham of Oslo is revealed by
this comparison. Ironically, the Accords have given
Arafat the opportunity to provide a safe haven for the
murderers of these Jews in the very territory which
Israel ceded to Arafat to control.

Not only does Arafat praise these killers of
Jews as "true martyrs and heroes", but Arafat refuses to
turn those known murderers over to Israel, as required by
Oslo. Moreover, the "Peace Partner", the Palestine
Liberation Organization, never revoked the many
provisions of the PLO Charter that call for the
destruction of Israel. For five years the PLO has used
this same "chip" to extract further concessions from
Israel, although it long ago committed itself under Oslo
to revoke these clauses. In addition, Arafat has
flagrantly formed a virtual army of 50,000 police
warriors, despite the provisions of Oslo to the contrary;
moreover he has armed them in excess of what Oslo
specified. Arafat refers to the Oslo Accords as an easy
way to acquire land from Israel. His friend and role
model is Iraq's Hussein; he will join with him, and
others, to destroy Israel at the first opportunity.

Oslo was an instrument which the PLO was quick to
seize upon to revive a dying terror outfit, led by
Arafat. Their new plan is to liquidate Israel in stages.
Peres and Beilin naively thought "peace" was possible
with these die-hard terrorists by means of Oslo. They,
along with others, are enemies of the Jewish State of
Israel who seek a one-sided continuation of Oslo: Israel
would be required to comply strictly to the terms of
Oslo, but Arafat and the PLO would be relieved of
carrying out any of the obligations they had assumed
thereunder.

From the very outset, Arafat and the PLO have never
acted in good faith. Their deception was to promise a
"peace" they never intended to actualize. They have
never varied their hate propaganda against Jews, so
characteristic of their media. The anti-Israel posture
in the education of their children is legendary; their
children's role models are "suicide bombers." Let us
call a spade a spade, and use that spade to bury "Oslo."

Abuse Of Jewish Children: A Lethal GSS and Police Innovation

Women In Green Hour: Wednesday, September 23, 1998 at 9 p.m.

Ruth Matar discusses with her guests the subject:

A "children's Jewish underground."

Is that concept absurd, or is there a basis for it? Can the GSS
and the Police violate the basic human rights of these children
under the claim that it is necessary for our "national
security?"

		Free Margalit Har Shefi

The harsh, unjust and incredulous sentencing of Margalit Har Shefi to nine
months in jail, and, in addition, a year and three months suspended sentence,
is a black day for justice in Israel. The decision is an untenable
precedent, besmirches the public's faith in our judicial system,
and adds fuel to the great divide within our Jewish Community.

Women In Green cannot remain silent at this patent example of a continuing
"witchhunt" of opponents to Oslo, under the pretext of seeking out
for punishment those unfairly thought to be responsible for the Yitzhak
Rabin murder.

In the context that Avishai Raviv still is not prosecuted for his heinous
crimes, and the improper use of Raviv to stiffle dissent from critics of
Oslo, the cruel Har Shefi sentence raises serious questions about the
impartiality of the chief prosecutor, Edna Arbel, a holdover in the Attorney
General's office from the Peres regime. Arbel's choice of who she
will prosecute, and on what basis, seems to depend upon a criteria that
makes a mockery of the basic concept of equal justice for all.

On Monday, September 28, 1998, at 10:00 a.m., in front of the office
of Edna Arbel at 29 Salah-a-Din Street in East Jerusalem, Women In Green
will demonstrate against Arbel's selective prosecution, which apparently
turns out to be, more often than not, against those who are considered
by her to be part of the nationalist camp.

Is, for the State Attorney's Office, a Good Jew - a Dead Jew??

The following is the text of today's program by Nadia Matar, the
chairperson of Women for Israel's Tomorrow (Women in Green), on Arutz
7. Nadia speaks, in Hebrew, every Sunday after the 12:00 noon newscast, and in
English, every Sunday at 10:00 PM on 98.7 FM. Both audio segments can be heard via
the internet on www.a7.org/live.htm

Shalom to all our listeners!
This is Nadia Matar speaking -

This is addressed to Edna Arbel, the State Attorney, Eliakim
Rubinstein, the Attorney-General, Minister Kahalani, the Minister for
Internal Security, Tzahi Hanegbi, the Minister of Justice, and,
mainly, to the Prime Minister, Mr. Binyamin Netanyahu, to whom the
other individuals I mentioned are subordinate:
"Lady and gentlemen, know that the blood of the next Jew who, Heaven
forbid, will be killed in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza after being
attacked but not daring to use his weapon because of you - his blood
will be on your head!"

I ask: is for the State Attorney's Office, a good Jew from Yesha
(Judea, Samaria, and Gaza)... a dead Jew? How otherwise can we
explain the scandalous treatment of Avshalom Ladani, a resident of
Dolev, who fired his gun after his life was in danger, after dozens of
terrorists stormed his car and attacked him, in order to murder him.
Instead of congratulating him, for having bravely defended his life,
for acting as an exemplary citizen, instead of telling him" we will do
everything in order to arrest the attackers" - no! Ladani is thrown
into the Russian Compound complex like a dog, and he is treated as if
HE were the aggressor, as if HE were guilty! Or, as Hanokh Daum wrote
in Hatzofeh: Avshalom Ladani is charged with preventing his own
killing!

Master of the Universe! What is going on here? One of the reasons why
we established the State of Israel was so that Jews would feel safe
here, so that anti-Semites would not be able to murder us as they
pleased, like they did in Europe. But what do we see, today, after
five years of the death accords, the Oslo accords -- Jewish blood is
free for the taking. When Jews are murdered by Arabs, nothing is
done in order to apprehend the Arab murderers. Jews who struggle
against their murderers are thrown into prison, as if they were
 guilty!

In fact, we can say that Israel, on the eve of Yom Kippur 5759, has
become a safe house, a city of refuge - for the murderers of Jews!
Everything is topsy-turvy: Ahmed Tibbi who justifies the murder of
settlers - instead of his sitting in jail for incitement to murder,
or actually, why only for incitement? He is Arafat's right hand, and
certainly is an active partner in all the murders and terrorist
attacks - and HE files a complaint against Minister Yahalom!!
The Reform "rabbi" Arik Asherman, who incited the Arabs to violence
against the Jews of Maon and the other settlements of the southern
Hebron hill country (Drom Har Hevron) - instead of HIS being placed
on trial for incitement to violence, we in Women in Green were
recently placed on trial for protesting against him, and we were
charged with incitement to violence against the poor Asherman ... in
Chelm they wouldn't have done this any better!

The scandalous treatment of Avshalom Ladani, who fired in
self-defense, is obviously a consequence of the State Attorney's
special directives against the settlers in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza.
These are directives that Eliakim Rubinstein and Binyamin Netanyahu
refuse to terminate and cancel; directives that relate to all the
 settlers in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza as criminals and lawbreakers;
directives that discriminate against the Jews of Judea, Samaria, and
Gaza, and especially against the Jews of Hebron.

These are special directives that tie the hands of the Jews of Judea,
Samaria, and Gaza, and forbid them to defend their lives; special
directives that seem to send a message that, as far as the
State Attorney is concerned, a good settler ...is a dead one!

We cannot fall into this trap. We cannot give the State Attorney the
 satisfaction.

My brothers, fellow Jews, who travel the roads of Judea, Samaria, and
Gaza: It is better to be ALIVE in a stinking cell in the Russian
Compound than to be dead in the middle of the road! If your life is
in danger, don't hesitate, use your weapon, don't think about the
State Attorney and the special directives.... Think about your
family, that wants you back home ALIVE!

We must express our protest to the State Attorney, this very day, to
 fax #: (02) 627-4481.

And if we are already talking about a Jew who is rotting in a prison
cell, a Jew who wants to come home, I have to mention in this period
of the High Holidays, Jonathan Pollard. My listeners, Jonathan
Pollard wants to come home ... and the truth be told, we are not
doing enough for him, and the government certainly is not doing
enough. If the Prime Minister would have made a greater effort, he
would already have been released. And so this Yom Kippur eve, we in
Women in Green thought of a little idea that may help to speed up
matters: we are setting up a team of people who will take upon
themselves to send every day the same fax to the Prime Minister, with
this text: "Honorable Prime Minister, what have you done today for
the release of Jonathan Pollard? His release is in your hands!"

If hundreds of people will join this fax team, then the Prime
Minister will receive hundreds of faxes about Jonathan Pollard every
day, and the Prime Minister will not be able to ignore our appeal.
And so, my listeners, join the team and send a fax every day, every
fax is worth a demonstration. The fax number of the Prime Minister
 is: (02) 651-2631.

On this Yom Kippur eve I wish the directors of Arutz 7, all our
precious listeners, and all Israel shanah tovah - a good year! May
the year and its curses pass away - the curses of the State
Attorney's Office that persecutes Arutz 7 and the Jews of Judea,
Samaria, and Gaza, the curses of the Oslo accords; and may the new
year and its blessing begin. May Jonathan Pollard come home and
also the MIA's Ron Arad, Zecharia Baumel, Zvi Feldman and Yehuda
Katz.
Shana Tova -- ketivah ve-hatimah tovah!
